The annual Australian Education Awards has been recognised as the leading independent awards event in the K-12 education sector.

The awards showcase the top-performing schools, principals, department heads and teachers for their outstanding achievements and transformative work that makes a profound difference to the lives of young people across Australia.

Excellence awardees will be announced in The Educator and online channels on Thursday 6 May. Overall winners will be announced and celebrated at the highly anticipated awards gala on 27 August at the Doltone House - Darling Island. Click here for further information.

Natalie is one of Australia’s most versatile entertainers, achieving success as an actress, musician, presenter and author.

Natalie can currently be seen on stage starring as Florence Vassy in CHESS and was formerly the infamous Roxie Hart in the highly acclaimed stage production of CHICAGO. Her recent acting credits include Baz Luhrmann’s ELVIS movie alongside Tom Hanks, the second season of Network Ten's THE WRONG GIRL, reprising her role as 'Izzy Hoyland' in the iconic television series NEIGHBOURS, and Network Ten's biopic BROCK, alongside Matt Le Nevez. Her other credits include the third installment of the hit series UNDERBELLY: THE GOLDEN MILE, THE MYSTERY OF NATALIE WOOD, CONTERSTRIKE and THE LOST WORLD. She also won the Best Actress Award at Tropfest 2016 for her performance in the short film WHY WOULD I LIE?.

Natalie’s work as a presenter includes starring the host of Network Ten’s CHANGING ROOMS, as a judge and mentor in the popular Channel Seven series THE X FACTOR AUSTRALIA and she led Beau Monga to victory on THE X FACTOR NEW ZEALAND. She co-hosted the 2010 ARIA AWARDS and won a Logie Award for her three year stint as host on SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE. In early 2017, she appeared in Network Ten’s I’M A CELEBRITY: GET ME OUT OF HERE.

Natalie most recently performed on stage for the Sydney Symphony Orchestra’s FUNNY GIRL IN CONCERT and performed at the 2018 Helpmann Awards. Natalie began her stage career on Australian productions of GREASE, RENT, FOOTLOOSE and CHICAGO. She returned to stage at the iconic Sydney Opera House for the hugely successful extended season of the play LOVE, LOSS AND WHAT I WORE.

Natalie has received Logie nominations for Most Popular Actress and Most Popular Presenter, as well as two Gold Logie nominations.

Natalie’s music career has seen her achieve acclaim as one of only ten women to reach Number One on the ARIA Charts as a solo artist. Her solo album, 1000 STARS, debuted at number one in 2009. She has enjoyed international success as front woman of The Rogue Traders, achieving multi-platinum sales across two albums, as well as two APRA nominations, an MTV award win, and seven ARIA nominations.

In 2015 Natalie launched a children’s clothing line CHI KHI. Natalie is also an ambassador for Bioglan and Ultherapy.
